tis the season

Well, despite the weather, summer is upon us. So bring on the movies!

I'll start off with Thor. (We saw it last weekend, and that's where we saw all the previews for summer movies to come.) I will admit that even after seeing preview months before it came out, I was excited to see it. No one knows why. I'm not usually into movies like that. And it did not dissappoint. I felt like it started in the middle of the story but if you know the story of Thor or don't care, and can get over the fact that not every little detail is explained, it was great. He is man candy. Anthony Hopkins was in it (looove him) and Natalie Portman. Graphics were good. We left wanting more.

Ok now onto movies I'm putting on my list.

I'm not a huge fan but I've seen all the movies and it looked pretty cool...ok, Griffin's dragging me to it, lets be honest.)

If I have to chose out of all the freakin super hero movies coming out, this would be the one I want to see. We'll probably save Green Lantern for the dollars.

Still can't really decide if we're gonna see this or not. James Bond and Indiana Jones + aliens? I don't know...

I'm kind-of put out by my lack of choices here. The only other movies that are not super hero, war, shooting, alien movies are Cars 2, Winnie The Pooh, Kung Fu Panda 2, or The Smurfs. Eh.
What are you excited to see?

  1. Are you kidding me?? Cowboys and Aliens looks awesome. I'm not even being sarcastic. I first saw previews for it at the HP midnight showing and the whole theater bust up laughing. I think it's going to be funny and action packed and cheesy and everything that kind of movie should be :)

  4. Ian just went and saw Thor in IMAX 3D without me because I don't like those kinds of movies, but I am excited for summer movies! I predict lots of date nights ahead!
