the best days of my life

Last weekend was probably one of the best weekends I've had in a long time. Mainly because I got to be with Griffin for all of it. We are so lucky that neither of us has to work on either Saturday or Sunday and it's hard for me to even think about spending one minute away from him on the weekends.
So Friday night, we were flat out broke. Just paid rent, still one more week until pay day. You know the drill. So we got creative and built a fort in our living room. Griff was the genius behind the lamp holding the sheet up so we could actually sit up in there.
Yes that is the bottom half of me. He can build forts but not so good at taking pictures.
We whipped out Monopoly and played for hours (after I totally won.) We didn't even get in any huge fights, which is always bound to happen while playing Monopoly, you know.
We fell asleep in there, and maybe at 10 AM or so, woke up and had breakfast and watched a morning movie in there before we cleaned it up. Bliss.
Saturday night, we took a trip to the Gateway with Griffin's brother Tim and wife Amy. The boys both got clothes from Abercrombie that needed to be returned. (After returning said items, us old fogies got the heck outta there because the smell and music was deafening.) I had lots of success at Gap and got to wander around Anthropologie for a while.
This is Tim and Griffin at Z-Gallerie, which is actually a classy place, with a Fart book they found. Of course. We ended our night with some yummy chinese food and the cutest little chinese waiter you ever did see.
Ok, it may not seem like much to you, but I had so much fun. But then again, any time I get to spend with Griffin is the best time I ever had.
