little mr. loves to talk to himself in the mirror. it's how i can keep him entertained while taking a shower or making dinner. i just sit him in front of the mirror and he'll just chat and giggle to himself. it's the cutest thing.

Friday again! Warm weekend ahead! Perfection!

I normally don't watch Rachel Ray (she is so abnoxious ya?) But this last summer I watched because, well, Michael Buble was on it. Mmmm.

The whole video is enjoyable. He is enjoyable. But if you skip to 5 min 40 sec into the video, he sings "I Just Haven't Met You Yet" to a pregnant woman's belly and it's kind-of weird but kind-of the cutest thing ever. Now everytime I sing that song, I sing it to my baby :) It makes more sense that way.

Ok, I've been MIA. No reason for it really. But I need to get back into it. Blogging makes me think and  makes me take pictures (which I am awful at.) Next week will bring pictures and stories.

Happy looooong weekend! Monday is a time to celebrate our presidents/my wittle muffin's birfday! I tried too hard to find a sweet deal so that we could escape this limbo that is Winter but to no avail. I saw this commercial the other day and maybe shed a tear or five. I wish.

Oh well, it will be really nice to just sleep, relax, and sleep some more. And eat some birthday cake.

Ok, you caught me. Every(work)day, I don't take my lunch break until 2:00 PM because that's when Friends is on. It may or may not make me, literally, Laugh Out Loud, by myself in the break room. Yes, I was one of those people who shed some tears when the finale was over. I used to look forward to Thursdays. Jennifer Aniston will always be Rachel to me. And Phoebe always made me laugh the most.

We do not have cable (gasp! I know. Somehow we survive with our Netflix.) So whenever we go to my parents house, they always have a new funny commercial to show us. This one came just in time. Last weekend we watched The River Wild in which Kevin Bacon plays the scary bad guy. He needed to redeem himself and this did it. Have a happy weekend!

Welcome

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! 2011?? It seems so....futuristic. I thought for sure robots would have taken over the world by now. Oh well, maybe in the next decade.
In the mean time, here is my New Year's recap. Every year, my in-laws go up to Grandpa Sheril's cabin and sled like it's Y2K, eat the most delicious food, and make hats. That's right. Every kind of paper and do-hikey is found and put together into hats. It's awesome.

christmas monster

Not gonna lie, this weekend I have been a Christmas monster. Stressed about decorating, shopping, countdowns and such. My own husband was scared of me as we traipsed around the mall on the hunt for presents with the rest of Utah County. Luckily, Sunday, I was kindly reminded at church and while watching this why we celebrate Christmas. And my heart grew 3 sizes tonight as I enjoyed this message. I hope yours does too. And I hope we will all remember what Christmas is all about.
